Maps

Maps let you use any image — a hand-drawn fantasy map, a city plan, a floor layout — as an interactive canvas with pins that link to the pages in your project.

  1. Create a Map from the sidebar.
  2. Import an image (PNG, JPG, or WebP) as the map background.
  3. Zoom and pan like any map app.
  • Double-click anywhere on the map to place a pin.
  • Drag a pin to reposition it.
  • Click a pin to open its sidebar and edit its properties.

Each pin can have its own:

  • Size — small, medium, or large
  • Shape — circle, square, or diamond
  • Icon

The real power: link a pin to an entity or note.

  • Click a linked pin to jump to that page.
  • The linked page shows where it sits on your maps, so navigation works both ways.
  • Pins can also participate in relationships (e.g. Elena — located at — Harbor District).

Placing, moving, editing, and deleting pins are all undoable.
