Maps
Maps let you use any image — a hand-drawn fantasy map, a city plan, a floor layout — as an interactive canvas with pins that link to the pages in your project.
Creating a map
Section titled “Creating a map”- Create a Map from the sidebar.
- Import an image (PNG, JPG, or WebP) as the map background.
- Zoom and pan like any map app.
Placing pins
Section titled “Placing pins”- Double-click anywhere on the map to place a pin.
- Drag a pin to reposition it.
- Click a pin to open its sidebar and edit its properties.
Customizing pins
Section titled “Customizing pins”Each pin can have its own:
- Size — small, medium, or large
- Shape — circle, square, or diamond
- Icon
Linking pins to pages
Section titled “Linking pins to pages”The real power: link a pin to an entity or note.
- Click a linked pin to jump to that page.
- The linked page shows where it sits on your maps, so navigation works both ways.
- Pins can also participate in relationships (e.g. Elena — located at — Harbor District).
Undo/redo
Section titled “Undo/redo”Placing, moving, editing, and deleting pins are all undoable.
