Search

As a project grows to dozens of chapters, characters, and notes, the sidebar alone isn’t enough. The search dialog gets you anywhere in a couple of keystrokes.

  1. Click the search icon in the title bar.
  2. Start typing the name of any item — manuscript, entity, note, table, mindmap, timeline, or file.
  3. Results appear as you type, with matching text highlighted and an icon showing each item’s type.
  4. Select a result to open it.

The dialog starts with your recently opened items — often the fastest way to jump back to what you were working on, with a note of when you last opened each.

  • Within a document — use find & replace (Mod+F) to search the text of the open manuscript.
  • Across your worldtables with sorting and the Project Table are great for scanning all entities at once.
