The Website is hosted by Hostinger. Software binaries are hosted onGitHub.

3. Data Collection — Website

The Website may use anonymous telemetry to collect aggregated usage statistics (e.g., page views, button clicks). This data does not identify you personally and is used solely to improve the Website experience. No cookies requiring consent are set by the site itself, and no user accounts are required to browse the Website.

4. Data Collection — Desktop Application

The Scriptorium desktop application is a local-first application. All documents, manuscripts, notes, and other content you create are stored exclusively on your device. We do not access, collect, transmit, or store any of your creative content.

The application may collect anonymous telemetry data (e.g., feature usage, crash reports, performance metrics) to help us improve the Software. This telemetry does not include your personal content or personally identifiable information. You can opt out of telemetry in the application settings.

5. Third-Party Services

This site uses PostHog, a product analytics service, to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. PostHog is hosted in the European Union (eu.i.posthog.com) and processes pageviews and interaction events on our behalf. We do not embed live chat or advertising widgets, and we do not sell your data or share it with advertising networks.

Under the GDPR and French data protection law (Loi Informatique et Libertés), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and port your personal data. Since the telemetry data we collect is anonymous and non-identifiable, these rights are primarily relevant if you contact us directly (e.g., via email for support).
